Rick Rosenthal first became Santa in 1968 for his friends, classmates, and their families. He received such an overwhelming positive response that he continued being Santa for friends and family yearly. This was the beginning of his life long and passionate path as a professional Santa Claus.

In 2016 Rick started Northern Lights Santa Academy in Atlanta GA. This is one of the largest, most prominent, and one of the highest quality Santa school in the country. With the mission and ultimate goal of educating others to be Professional Performers and instilling in their minds new monumental responsibilities of being excellent Christmas Performers. Santa Rick ensures each graduation class including every student recites the Santa, Mrs. Claus, or Elf Oath. He completes this task with obligation, dedication, and sincerity without fail since 2016.

Rick volunteers for several organizations over the years including BEATS (Equine Therapy), Big Brothers of America, Boy Scouts of America, Community Assistance Center, The Ellis Center, The Georgia Aquarium, Toys for Tots, and United Cerebral Palsy. He also performs at community, private and corporate events and is found on videos, TV, and radio during the Christmas season.
