Glenn Heald is a dedicated man to his God, Country and Santa Claus. As a decorated and retired United States Air Force veteran, Heald served twenty-four years and many tours of duty. Upon his retirement at the age of 45, he took on the role of Santa Claus.

Over the years Heald has traveled over 16,000 miles performing as the Jolly Old Elf in Georgia and Tennessee. His focus was on giving and a Santa experience to local stores, organizations, and families.

As a devout follower of Jesus, he is an ordained minister and a member of the Knights of St. Nicholas. His Christian Santa ministry serves many churches, hospitals and charities. These experiences were chronicled in his book “Santa Talks.” Tailored for grandparents, parents, and children of all ages, Santa Talks keeps Christ in Christmas while sharing the magical story of Saint Nicholas’s journey to becoming the most beloved holiday character of all time.

In 2021 Heald was awarded the Lee-Robinson award for his charitable work.
